This policy explains what Aislehop collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, phone number and password (stored encrypted).
- Delivery details: your addresses and delivery notes.
- Orders: what you order, from which store, prices, substitutions, ratings, tips and messages with your shopper.
- Payments: card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We don't store your full card number; we keep only the card brand, last 4 digits and expiry so you can recognize it.
- Location: shoppers' location while they're on a delivery, so customers can follow their order. Customer addresses are turned into map locations for delivery.
- Photos: receipt photos, delivery photos and product photos taken in the app.
- Shopper applications: license and insurance details and photos, and background check status, for people who apply to drive.
How we use it
To run your orders, process payments, provide support, keep the Service safe, prevent fraud, and improve it. We send order updates by push notification or email.
Who we share it with
- Your shopper sees your first name, delivery address, notes and order so they can deliver it.
- Service providers who help us run Aislehop, such as payment processing (Stripe), hosting, photo storage and background checks, only for those purposes.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We don't sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order records while your account is open and as long as needed for taxes, accounting and legal reasons.
Your choices
You can update your details in the app. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email us. We'll answer within 30 days.
Children
The Service isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we'll tell you in the app or by email.
